I believe in using only the finest high-quality materials along with hand craftsmanship, to create stunning bespoke furniture and gifts that will stand the test of time. Each of our bespoke items are handcrafted in the Wye Valley, South Wales using local materials wherever possible and design that offers both style and functionality.

Every item in my Etsy store has been thought out carefully. To ensure that our products are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also fit for purpose and made to last with quality materials.
I use premium hardwoods, typically Oak, however, darker woods such as Walnut, Iroko and Sapele areΒ also available. I very rarely use soft wood and never use veneered hardboards unless its been pre-discussed or requested specifically.Β
Β Wood with character is always a preference, you may find knots and interesting grain in our products making each one unique. However, every piece of timberΒ is carefully selected for strength and has been treated to last and with food grade oils and glues.Β

There is a place for budget flat-packed furniture. It is cost effective and sometimes functional. However, it isn’t built to last, and it isn’t made specifically for your space. Buying bespoke allows me to produce built in furniture, or stand alone items that fit your home perfectly. You can choose functionality, storage options, the materials used and finishes such as paint colours, oils, stains or handles.Β
Built to fit your space
We’ll measure your space and discuss your needs. You may want a built in item, or custom handrail for your staircase, specific to your home. Or a custom furniture item that is standalone, and will transfer easily between homes. Everything is possible.Β
Wide range of materials
Building with hardwood is always a preference. We can give you options of light or dark wood, and a choice of stains or paints if you have a specific vision in mind. Where possible it will be sourced locally to the the workshop. We can also use veneered Plywood or MDF to keep the costs down where applicable.Β Β
Fixed price quote
Β Just like buying from a shop, there are no surprises at the end of the projects. Before we start work we will have discussed a design and fix a price, thatΒ includes materials, or you can source them yourself if you wish.Β Β

Free visit to your home
It’s impossible to get a good idea of what can and can’t be done over a call or email. So I will come over and have a look at your space, talk to you about your requirements, materials, and take a few preliminary measurements.

within 1 week
Within a week I will come back to you with a visual design concept, material breakdown and an all inclusive estimate for the build.

Fix a priceΒ
& start work
When you are happy with the plan, I will confirm a fixed price and timescaleΒ for your project, then set to work. Sending you updates and pictures of the progress along the way.

Just finished a build of a meditation chair. The scope of work was for a hand made solid oak chair, a specific size to fit a pre existing cushion, simple design but with a 100 adjustable back rest. Loved doing this project, if anyone needs work like this done PLEASE let me know, so i can fill my days with furniture making. π

V.2 of the Lazy Susan has been launched! It`s more versatile, easier to clean, has bigger bowls, it`s easier to store and to deliver. Which is important as it will be available on a new Etsy store soon. π
I can`t wait for the next few weeks... There`s a fantastic project on the horizon. π
Finishing up a little job making and fitting three sets of custom shutters. The room looks huge without the curtains, and it`s soooo dark. ππ΄

For me, there is something so fulfilling about taking a rough, bent, twisted and knarled piece of wood, give it some tlc and a coat of oil and suddenly (to me) it`s stunning. It`s like pimp my ride, for wood. π€£ This bit is on its way to becoming the back rest of a bench seat. #woodworking #handcrafted
